Birds on a wall and winter is here...and gone

Day 49

A whole lot of crafting and sewing going on just not a lot of posting but I promise I will get back into the habit....thinking about getting a netbook so I can work during the hours I am at swimming practice or violin with the girls.

And I confiscated one of G1's rather large sticks she often picks up on walks and hung my 'Spiraling Birds in Flight' on the wall in our loft. This is the loft that we are going to turn into a beachy theme room to remind me of Florida (where I grew up) and this will go perfectly!

And it turns out we did get to have our week or so of winter on the Mesa of Albuquerque after all...it actually snowed but was melted by noon...today we have beautiful blue skies again soon the weather will give way to mind numbing winds with lots of whipping hair and blowing gritty sands but thats life in the desert...


don't these snowpeople look so sad? Maybe they are planning how we are going to redo our garden this year...
