Ringing in 2010 with sewing of course!

Day 42

Working on a mystery quilt and I must say I am not really that fond of the process. I think I prefer to see the pattern all together and read through things a few times but then again most likely the kink in the chain is me as I have never completed a measure and cut quilt only ones that I have made up or collaged.

What is the difference you say? Ah well a whole lot of math and rule following which I just will fully admit I do not like to do when sewing...I don't want to have to think just create and go with the flow.....soooo what have I done to make this fun again?

Well I am gonna make these completed squares into pillows and give them out as gifts that is what I am gonna do 'cause sure 'nuf the recipients will appreciate them!

I will keep a couple because I like to see my mistakes as my learning curve progresses and this does not discourage me from making another measure and cut quilt I just have to find one that speaks to me!

All of these pillows will be named 'Wonky Donkey' in honor of my efforts and a wee bit of humor!
