We awoke to a rather chilly day and it stayed overcast all day which prompted the use of the fireplace ALL DAY...snuggly...sadly it did not snow on the mesa but I hear it was dumping a few inches in the mountains so yes I am jealous a bit
Since the fireplace was going our resident supercat decided he was not moving as long as the heat was there-yes he regularly sleeps with his paws straight out he is strange but he was kind enough to sit still for our November costume photo shoot today that I will post the pics of on Nov 1st!! He is a really great cat and has become my shadow and pure mama's boy since his leader passed on.
This is what G1 worked on today-she has been studying Japanese on her own for about 5years now and when I was wondering what she was giggling about she showed me this it says (I hope lol) "The puma is next to the desk inside the zoo" and something about the puma going to a business meeting--I have NO idea where those came from but they are funny.
This is what I worked on today-we wrapped our pantry door so that we can put up our holiday calendar of activities-crafts, recipes, places to go- that we will be doing from now till New Years!!
And the zombies were playing with the brains, I mean the kids were playing with the pumpkin guts today, this stuff was all over the kitchen as they flicked their hands to get it off but our kitchen sparkles now just an excuse to clean I tell ya--I was so proud that with very little knife help from me they pretty much carved their own pumpkins...I of course took all the seeds and baked them for my snacking pleasure!!
Been crafting, cutting and sewing in between homeschooling and these other activities--gotta get batteries in the camera tomorrow for some more pics....y'all have as much fun as we are too!
