Day 75
Believe it or not the past couple days have been filled with bursts of sewing intermixed with lots of moving and Spring cleaning! You see I also sew whatever someone wants or has an idea for-whether it be comforters, curtains, a hem here and tuck there.....needless to say I have clients who come to my home BUT my Creative Lair is primarily situation upstairs and since I don't want people romping through my whole house the collective WE have decided to move it downstairs which has resulted in a shuffling of 3 rooms. In the end this will be better for clients, craft nights and our sanity.
So in the meantime enjoy this flower pic from last summer--passion vine.
and a couple of books I picked up recently, Good ol' Martha's fantastic sewing encyclopedia (this is a GREAT book)
and this great modern book on Crewel sewing which was helpful in explaining some cool stitches...I am really loving this type of embroidery after doing that 70s kit
anyway got to get back to work cause I have a couple of clients with appointments this week and I need my space back...so keep creating!
