Finished this top yesterday and convinced G2 to actually put it on to take pics today.... it is from the
Reversible Corset-Back Halter top from
YouCanMakeThis I had to upsize it to a 10 and next time I make one I will remember to also increase the area around the back...I thought I had measured and worked it out but it works out well and she likes it..... polka dots for the ties & ruffle, Hannah Montana fabric for the body and a scrap of a recyled curtain for the lace over it all....G2 wanted it to look like this so being the good sewing servant I acquiesed and made it EXACTLY how she wanted it....not bad, not bad....the lace could not go up higher without itching her skin under her arms so we lowered it and I think it looks awkward but important thing is she likes it

See next time I will add more fabric to the back on either side of where the loops go but it does not look too bad--the purple ribbon is from the lacey part to make it ruffle but it also seems to add extra strength to the around the upper torso portion.....

An easy and fun pattern....will totally be making this again! She is going to wear this top to the Santa Fe gig....
