Turning 9....

Yes the youngest turned 9 yesterday and we had fun all day....even on Friday we went to Cupcakeology bright and early in the AM (pictures of those delicious items later after I get them off hub's phone)

G1 stayed up late to help decorate the house while G2 slept and we went a little crazy on streamers and banners but it was fun-we even had streamers from her bed all the way downstairs to her presents.

We had cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner--yea we had other food but we polished off that cake in one day!

Then high on sugar I was asked to make a different outfit for the Santa Fe 400th gig--this is typical I make something and the day before she wants something else and well if I have the time I am willing to accommodate and since I had time this is what she created....it is very unique lol but cute

a triple layer elastic waist skirt with a flower pinned on for good measure--this is pre-ironing and I need to top stitch

and this fake corset top with the characters cut that way on purpose--those eyes they follow you everywhere woohoo

and here is the whole thing the way she will wear it so I will try to get some good pics today

That cake was history the minute she blew the candles out

A present from her big sister- a Green Arrow mask all hand made by G1--we are watching all the series of Smallville so we are big into superheroes right now--I think this was her favorite present
