I have been reading and just checking in on the life of this little girl since I first heard about it on Twitter --if you want you can read more about her story and the story of her family here but you will need some tissues.
I can not imagine the grief of this family and other families that go through this fight with cancer. I just got home from errands and found out she has passed but I will be making a quilt block for them tonight.
The deadline for the blocks is Monday 3/15 so find out more information here..... the sweet blogger at Cotton Candie Fabric is going to put the blocks together into quilts.
And even if you don't send a quilt block please just go hug your kids--as I just wrote on Facebook This is truly what matters in life....NOT cleaning the house or worrying about bills or stupid swim team stuff THIS IS WHAT MATTERS MOST....go hug your kids and if you have not talked to your kids in a while flipping call or email already just reach out don't wait until it is over or too late.... going to go hug my girls for a bit
