Day 98
Enjoying our last days of Summer before the Fall schedule kicks in and we feel like we have no time between activities....good activities for sure, chosen by the girls and as long as they are having fun we are cool with it but it is a fine line balancing and making sure they do not overwhelm our lives as a family.
This weekend was the 1 yr birthday of a local celebrity--Daizy the Asian elephant baby so off to the zoo I sent dad and girls for some all important bonding time since I am with them a lot (read all the time) and before puberty sends the household into a tailspin I want to make sure that the girls have connection with the first special dude in their life.
This picture they snapped is so funny, every time the train whizzed by the this little guy ran over to check things out....watching the world go by his own little world....worlds within worlds, cool thoughts eh?
Isn't she adorable? Apparently she loves fruit loops and marshmallows...her herd is her mom and grandmother which is kind of cool to have a true family unit together in one zoo!
I think the girls have been watching too many bad Piranha made for TV movies....lol...love her expression...
A visit to my favorite thrift store has netted us some goodies we are playing and reworking this week which fits into our eevvill plans for world sewing domination lol lol muwahahahaha--hey man with 2 creative tweenagers in the house and gig season upon us we must have some unique stage outfits whether it be an actual stage or the world stage.
So stop watching the world go by .....go forth and sew or create!!
