Hip Hip Hooray for Christmas Vacation

Oh my I just love that movie it cracks me up! And Chevy Chase oh the expressions that man can spin...I forget how funny it is at the end when he blows his fuse...and the squirrel. Now the girls are entranced and watching Camp Rock under the holiday lights snuggled on the couch. There is certainly something magical about just sitting in the glow of holiday lights.

Oh and here is a good one for the holiday spirit...the Snoopy Dance ala the TV show on USA, it is the first Psyche-out 'Christmas Joy' but it is pretty funny during the actual show too Psyche


We put up the tree and will string it with lights later. Poor tree we have had it for some 10 years now and it is starting to get bare so we have to add in garlands to make it look fuller lol....but we dress it up and it looks fabu. Hub and I made the girls put it up and it was hilarious because they got the branches out of order and the longer ones are sort of in the middle lol but hey it gives it character!

The stars are starting to fall down so we are coming up with another solution to keep them from knocking someone on the head and the cats are not helping any by jumping up and trying to grab them. Don't they look innocent? Destruction has already been chased from the tree as she is actively trying to eat it...I mean really does it have a fishy flavor? She is such a weirdo.

Tomorrow we will decorate and get better pics of the whole holiday splendor.

The wreath is one I made with a lot of old wooden ornaments that were no longer able to be hung on the tree.
