Just being a mom...

Hmm where to start well lets see I was sick and being a mom you just carry on albeit extremely more tired and no time for hobbies. And of course blogging is out but it shouldn't be it is a really good reminder of life and creativity and I need to remember that when I don't feel like uploading photos.

So I suppose I will get out the way back machine and go back a couple of weeks....

remember when I was discussing old quilts well here are the ones I managed to get the girls to allow me to take pics of because they had to dig them out from their beds they are so loved

The first one is from my oldest, it is red stitchwork done in nursery rhymes with some vintage recreated fabrics on the borders and back

And these were totally hand done...yes I am a glutton but I loved to hand sew and still do!

The second one is for my youngest when she was a baby rolling over and gazing upon the world. So I made her a quilt that she could look at while laying on her tummy. All in felts so she could touch it with bright colors and shapes made into pictures...I love that they still love their quilts even if they are way bigger than the quilts themselves now.
