Only with my kid those are not the only words she used-- PAH musicians--they drive me crazy, or at least the one in my household does...
...it was gloomy here in Albuquerque yesterday thus the indoor pics--yea it threatened to rain but did not actually rain up here on the high mesa--I believe it rained down in the valley though! One of the drawbacks to living in a desert is the actual fact that rain either speeds past you to dump on the mountains and valleys or does not touch the ground (seriously this happens all the time, freaky too when you are underneath it) this is called 'virga' don't type in 'verga'.... ah you really don't want to know and honestly after knowing you should not even impress your friends and say 'oh look at the virga' out loud especially if you live in a predominately Spanish speaking population
OK back to the divaish musician who actually modeled the vest, declared it cool and promptly threw it over the arm of the couch and in my opinion never to allow it to grace her body again...all in some sibling ploy to do EVERYTHING her big sis does cause her big sis wanted one first
It did turn out cute though and I always forget how much I love hand sewing-just not buttons so much.
(oh look she has curly hair underneath those straight/wavy locks)
and the pom-pom trim that she HAD to have but did not quite reach all the way around--s'okay I MEANT to do it that way...muahahaha problems are just excuses to do find more creative solutions right?!
same vintage fabric as the last one and can you spot the corn on the cob and watermelon buttons I found-so cute!
