Bluebird, science and a cat

Thanks to everyone and their families who have served the American citizens--we honor you today!

It was sort of overcast yesterday--it actually rained here in the AM, actual rain, big drops--so I did not get a good pic yesterday and today hub has said he will get some lights or take this outside to get a good image

Here is the completed Bluebird of Happiness Tableaux--you can't see the beads or the stamp impression on the velvet so when I get some good pics today I will post it here with it's official description (it comes with a small 'story') I wanted to put someting in the blank spaces but hub actually would not let me so that has become part of what it represents

Here is the next project--all science related or at least the fabric looks like it fits with this theme right? And the paper and buttons will be worked into the whole picture

And I am sewing finishing up two tops for MYSELF and some clothes for the girls as well as working on a project with Mrs.CatHead
