Polka dots again, One Odd Bird & a humongo caterpillar

So I finished and hung my supposed to be scalloped polka dot curtains then promptly took them down today and just added little gathers on the bottom....I just was not comfortable with the scallops as in I am apparently not a scallop person and they just were ruining my creative lair groove....



as you can see very impromptu very simple gathers and yes I know they do not go all the way down to the window base BUT the cats like to look out the windows as they sit on their special chair (they are allowed to sit there and no where else in my space so they are often located there) and this is perfect height and no cat hair on the bottom of my curtains

I completed and am going to list tomorrow on Artfire my 'One Odd Bird' stitching--he looks really cute on my inspiration wall

And looks like my large moth friends have been breeding successfully...here we have just one example of the critters that were in our front yard today....we love our insects here....it looks like a tomato hornworm BUT it is the caterpillar of the Hawk or Sphinx moth as they look very similar and those are the only adult stages we are seeings...

Isn't he a cutie and he is larger than my middle finger and thick like a sausage
