Old dollies bring up childhood memories....

Day 2

I had received this dolly pattern in a box of fabrics from a garage sale. She is a storybook doll with a little stuffed lamb (not pictured as it is already being loved). I sewed her all up today!

She is the kind that you cut out of the pre-printed fabric and then sew it together. I am not sure how old she is seems like 80s is most likely just based on the other fabrics that she was in the box with that I bought.

I think she is so cute and I just had to make her when I rediscovered her again while I was cleaning. She is going to live in my little daughter's dolly collection and will most likely sleep in her bed snuggled up to her for some time.

I remember my Grandmother making me dolls and I still have one of the hand-made topsy-turvy dolls somewhere stored here.
