Finally Spring sunshine in New Mexico is back!

Day 73

Perfect time for digging huge mud holes in the backyard...think we are going to have this permanently as a yard feature.

Finding great things in yard sales and thrift stores...this poor china doll had unknown stains all over her body so I created my own CSI scene by slicing her all the way up her back and removing the nasty leftover bits of fabric and thread stuff (pure nastiness) 'they' put in her body and giving her a soapy bath. This AM she is dry and back to being white again. Will work on her repair with the tons else on the TODO list.

Almost finished with this crewel work, it needs the outlining finished and then blocking--going to be adding this to another project.

Have had lots of time with G2 this week in the sunshine and at the park while G1 started her new swim team-we have 2 whole hours together 4 nights a week!

it was a wee bit windy but if you are a true Albuquerquean you can handle 35/40 mph winds like nothing...

Yesterday it was off to rehearsal for the Jr Strings Symphony Orchestra concert which is this afternoon--wish you were here, G2 says "RocknRoll and violins all the way" uh yea she is gonna be a handful as a teen ya think?!
