Taking a day off is a beautiful thing

What is a mom to do when she suddenly realizes that there is NOTHING on the calendar during the weekend?

My entire TODO list looked something like this:

turn off phones

play around on Facebook

take pictures of flowers in garden

pull weeds

do taxes<--SIGH yea had to be done, death and taxes quote and all that

enjoy supposed rain storm that was going to roll in but was a whole lot of dark clouds and not a lot of moisture

run outside and catch pic of hot air balloon that nearly scraped the shingles off the roof of my house

sketch out some ideas to sew

start to cut out the tops for my girls

plan and dream

most importantly:

played and spent good times with the family

snuggled my girls-even the preteen, for a whole 5 minutes

spent more time with family!!!
