In case you are completely oblivious Twilight came out on DVD last weekend. And the G's grandparents got them the 2-disc set, so knowing it was coming they planned a Twilight party for their friends. This is the story of a vampire and a girl falling in love all set in the Pacific NW...it is the first in a series of 4 books written by Stephenie Meyer and if you have not read them yet I recommend getting them they make for a good story all around. And hey the author is a mom so that makes her cool in my book.
So one of the girls came bearing her 'Team Edward' sign--(that is Edward the moody big hair which defies gravity lead vampire)
the girls had decorated with wolves and vampires with some quotes from the book....me personally I am very much Team Carlisle (Carlisle actor w/o the blonde hair) he was also the bad king who 'The Rock' had to destroy in Scorpion King...you've come a lot way baby and you are very cute as a vampire Dr.
& here is Chief Swan with the stache, lead vampire love interest Bella's dad.....
G1 she was very much for Team Jacob the actor who also played Shark Boy in one of her fave kid movies. And he is part of the Wolf Pack in the later books...that doesn't give too much away does it? lol
How funny is it that most actors have had bit parts in either Law and Order or CSI TV shows...that always cracks me up.
And now the movie night was such a hit that apparently we will be hosting a monthly tween/teen movie night at our house lol.....that is fine with me they are all great kids and fun to have as friends for the girls. Course the moms rock too so it will be nice to have some mom time while they are movie watching!
We had fun! And how fitting was it that LittlestCatHead had a NOSEBLEED at a vampire party?! LOL
