...And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson......Coo, coo, ca-choo, Mrs Robinson....Simon and Garfunkel (1968 Hit)
Mrs. Robinson greets you at the door for tea in her garden one lovely fall day...she sits there so perfect in her wrought iron chair, legs crossed, instead of tea she has chosen scotch on the rocks in a highball glass....sensible black pumps, knee high hose and a thin black full body slip complete the outfit....

Vintage wool blend?
Anna Marie Horner, Good Folks, AH24 Zinnia Fortune by Free Spirit
zips up the back
Since I could not model it I hope that this post describes this dress...at first glance it appears a shapeless sack but on the body it loosely hugs the curves and leaves just enough hint to the imagination to make it sexy yet sensible!
The attached faux belt is loose so you can move the part with the flower to the side depending on how you want to wear it...
Says size 14 on the package, measurements:
Bust 36
Waist 27
Hip 38
Finished dress length from back of neck 40
I tried it on and I fall somewhere between a 14 and a 16 and it fit but was snug...amazingly enough for a vintage pattern I think this is pretty much true to size and for a woman of figure (highly unusual to have vintage patterns that cater to the full figure woman)...all in all a lovely pattern don't you think?
This dress def needs a black slip underneath--white is so yesterday lol--I am going to make one just for the heck of it so look for it to appear soon....and more of these dresses in different fabrics
I had never worked with wool (or in this case a wool blend) before and so it was a lot of fun...it was just a fun experiment to try this vintage pattern and I plan on trying out more of the vintage patterns I own
This was a grand experiment I have not figured out yet if I am going to sell it or what....so if you are interested in it email me...
Will get better pics of it this evening just to see what if I can get a better view...
