Here it is finished (I love my staple gun) although I did sew the hems and the corners to each other...the top is so soft, a velvety scrap just the right size (I even caught G2 petting it lol) now the girls can play card games, do puzzles...or just put up the feet.....it is not strong enough to sit on
this is going into the tween gaming and movie loft which is a beachy theme and it needed something that can be messed up and not fussed with....the skull fabric is a bit thicker so it will stand up to being moved around or being stepped on or the cats playing under the skirt (which they did all yesterday evening) and yes I put pleats into the skirt, cute but not too cute eh?
And those of us familiar with cats knew this was going to happen...I caught him circling the ottoman....
And in the manner of all cats worth their salt he sat upon it as if it were a throne and declared himself king of all he surveyed...when the girls tried to remove him to do a puzzle he laid down on his side stuck his paw up and moved pieces off the table when they were not looking lol lol
Working on: more tablerunners; knit tweenie tops; wrapping up the details on a godet skirt & top for moi
On the boards: tweenie skirts; another vintage pattern 50s this time; upcycled shirts
Fabric used in this project--do not know the name of the skull fabric there was no ID marks...if you know the name let me know so I can add it in
