....now I know where those Hollywood types get a lot of their ideas from...this purple one is a surprise seed that just sprouted up and it has what look like individual flowers forming on flower with those tube things on the back, I have no idea what this flower is so if anyone knows let me know!
These onions are just so weird they stand half as tall as me (all 5'3" of me) and they are just bizarre I have to stare at them when I am out watering...see how the stalks are large in the middles like they just swallowed something like the plant in Little Shop of Horrors...I can't wait to see their blooms

Sewing, sewing you ask? Oh wait this was a sewing blog but you know my sewing is so intertwined with life that there are no defined borders so while I will talk about my sewing I will also just chatter on (and on) about things that I see that inspire me every day....(did you stop to smell the roses today?)
Ok well my oldest has decided to join the summer swim team so I have been getting up at 5AM M-F to work and then waking up baby sis who HAS to come along with us and heading to practice so she can be there before 7...yes little sis has bags under her eyes and is a bit grumpy,she is a musician and musicians generally don't do mornings, but hey thats life and it's only for 2 months or so or thereabouts...
and I have had a ton of orders in for my memory-momento tablerunner thingies-I HAVE to come up with a good name for these and I have been getting the details finalized on each one and then making up templates and drawing my designs. Considering ordering the EQ6 software to help with this so I can have a main template and just make changes as clients request them, has anyone used this software and what do you think? I might even order the Amy Butler software as well....
...and good ole' Hipstitch I have not been in to see the store or those ladies in at least 2 weeks because I have been working my behind off on this other stuff but I miss that store so if you are in Albuquerque and want to check out a great sewing boutique make sure to check them out....they have a ton of classes this summer going on even for kids!! And ladies I will be in in June while I am on my way to Pokemon at the library-joy of joys lol....got a great surprise for them and I might even WEAR it into the store--WAIT don't FAINT yes I am actually finishing something that I CAN WEAR... SHOCKER....
And since Mrs. Cathead was posting her songs here is what I listen to while sewing or at least sewing today... Linkin Park By Myself, Hyperdrive and Numb--yea I was not only an 80's punk music lover but I delved into big hair and hard rock and this reminds me of what I loved about it....with a modern feel.
