G1 had a BLAST! She swam in the 50 freestyle, 25 Butterfly, Backstroke and Breaststroke... apparently she loves all strokes but Butterfly is her favorite... and she was so excited to start the summer league that she was unable to sleep the past few nights....
...do you remember that joy as a kid, so excited about something that your body is quivering in anticipation? Ah to be a kid again...
She got 2 3rds, a 2nd and a 4th place ribbons.....
And her little sis stood at the end of the lane for EVERY race cheering her on...she did this on her own without being asked, she really does love her big sis something awful lol
I just thought this was a cool picture with the flag reflecting on the water
And so now we are a part of the Desert Sharks summer swim league which is very cool cause she LOVES sharks!!
More pics this week as I take the camera to practice...pretty durn awesome for a kid who never had swim lessons...chlorine really must run through veins....

it is some form of cosmic carmic comic justice - you hated it but now she loves it - but the reason that you hated it is because you were pushed and pushed and pushed - and the reason that she loves it is that you have supported her but not pushed her
