Yesterday I spent the entire day cutting and stitching for the Que Pasa Holiday Expo which will open from 8AM-3PM on Saturday, December 5th at Rio West Community Church 6751 Pasilla Road, Rio Rancho. The Expo is not affiliated with the church they just use the space for their expo as it is large and the bonus is it has a beautiful view of the Sandias from their HUGE windows. There will be all sorts of women owned businesses there from jewelry to candles to cooking and card-making to of course sewing!
Today we woke up to a smattering of snow after an evening of light dashes of cold rain. Of course it did this while I was running G1 to a swim team building event and then to a bday party. I think I have arrived at pre-teen hood when I had 3 girls in the van singing to a song on Radio Disney, giggling and talking about boys all literally in the same breath. This as I am pretending not to hear and driving AND turning the radio up as loud as possible so as not to hear cause frankly I am not ready for that part of my life so I will ignore it for a bit longer!
The girls and hub have decided to start the holiday decorating early (I guess building and demolishing the gingerbread house kicked it off officially.) So they got out all the decorations and made an executive decision to have a different kind of tree this year--we never do anything the same way each year gotta keep it fresh right?!
The tree is going up in our loft AKA the kid hang out area....
