When you live in a desert that rarely gets precipitation the second the wet stuff hits the tumbleweed the city comes to a screeching halt
its all good though cause the kids got to out for a few minutes until they realized this was the coldest weather they had ever experienced~windchill was in the teens below zero brrrrrr even Sokka the wonder cat had to go out and was pawing at the glass the minute he saw the snow start to fall he wanted to go out and romp so badly (he is an indoor cat except when he sees snow apparently) 5 minutes later he had enough~yea the cats a freak what can we say
wreath=from a friend who cleaned out her craft closet
BEAUTIFUL shells=freecycled awesomeness
Can you see the 'arrow through the heart' we did with the spiral shells?
sorry for the crappy low light snow day photos
Gawd I hated touristy shell tacky mirrors and curios growing up in Florida, I thought they were the ugliest things I had ever seen and NOW I TOTALLY want more in my house I miss the salty air something awful....lucky me I have more shells leftover and an amazing variety of shells already in the house so all I need is a mirror...
I also did these 3 little hearts and strung them together, cuteness but I have to move them, don't like them against the orange...I think I will add them to our beachy decorated loft that is slowly slowly taking shape
this year we decided to keep a small tree up year round to decorate for all the holidays, seriously we make little crafty things all year and don't have any place to hang them so this will work marvelously right? All the red and pink ornaments are out for Valentine's day....one day I might have to get hub to make a bare stick tree because I am partial to Charlie Brown looking trees~I might even make my own one of those
Stay warm and craft on peoples....
